100% handmade, reclaimed and upcycled, coffee bean sack, decorative hessian cushion
These coffee sacks have travelled the world, from as far as Brazil, Vietnam, Ethiopia, until they reach their final destination here in the UK, Taylors of Harrogate. From there they are transported to our site in East Yorkshire, to be given a new life, being repurposed into new and beautiful items.
Each coffee sack is washed, and then carefully hand crafted into original designs by our skilled artisans here at ReFactory.
Our cushion inserts are also made from 100% reclaimed and recycled materials. Foam cut offs are shredded down to fill out the cushion inserts which are constructed, again by hand, from unused, cleansing wipe material, destined for landfill.

Due to the variety of coffee sacks we accept from across the globe, no one item we make here is the same. Each product is an original in its own right. Therefore, the images shown are a representation only of what can be expected, colours and surface prints will vary. These really are unique pieces, made with care, for those who appreciate originality and environmentally friendly design concepts.
Best efforts have been made to give a second life to these retired textiles in the most environmentally friendly way. Due to this, there may be lingering residue or odours associated with the transport and storage of coffee beans. Therefore, we do not recommend our products be used by those with asthma or allergies.
